I love to travel, country music, mocha frappes, karaoke and I have 2 young children that are as lively as I am. I truly believe that doing experiences with children, family and friends is the best thing to get quality time together. The memories made are forever in your hearts.
Some of my favorite memories are from when we did a 2 week honeymoon exploring the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns and The Yarra Valley wine tour in Australia and our 12 night Mediterranean cruise gallivanting through Tuscany and ending with a gondola ride through Venice.
I want to understand what makes the perfect trip, let's paint that picture together. Think of me as your personal assistant who can make things fun and easy.

I am Erik the other half of Susan's Getaways. I love to travel everywhere, as often as I can. I am a certified Scuba diver and I have an amazing 300-gallon saltwater aquarium with coral, fish, anemones, shrimp, snails, and starfish. I have such a long list for my bucket list but Iceland is at the top to visit soon. My favorite place I have ever been to is Australia for our honeymoon, Sydney, Cairns, and Melbourne. It is on the other side of the world and takes about 28 hours of travel time. So 2 weeks would be a minimum to really enjoy yourself but allow us to walk you through the details, another reason to use a travel agent.

My name is Valerie Taylor and I am the newest Travel Associate at Susan’s Getaways, Dream Vacations. I am a wife to my high school sweetheart, Michael, a mother of three incredible young adults, and an almost empty nester. With my kids being older I have found myself traveling more and more over the last few years. With the pandemic halting most people’s desire to travel, I instead found myself taking advantage of some incredible deals and traveling any chance I could get. I am a beach lover through and through (if I could get my cold weather loving husband to move there I’d be gone tomorrow) so I always seem to gravitate more toward Caribbean destinations and cruises when traveling. So far my all time favorite place to go would be Maho Beach on St. John, USVI- there’s nothing like a cute little beach town with free roaming donkeys, crystal clear Caribbean waters, and swimming with dozens of sea turtles. My bucket list vacations would include the French Polynesian Islands, Thailand, Australia, France, and Greece- just to name a few.
